Breathwork

I offer individual breathwork sessions to help you let go of physical tension, process emotions and re-regulate your Autonomic Nervous System.

I use a trauma-informed technique called Psyche Breath, developed by Performance Psychology specialists at Noble House. Sessions are tailored to each client’s needs, and we learn breath techniques at a pace that feels good for you.

WHAT IS BREATHWORK?

Any conscious breathing techniques that are used as a way of supporting wellbeing might be described as ‘breathwork’. Most sessions I offer involve sitting or lying down and using diaphragmatic breath techniques for up to an hour, with music playing in the background. I offer hands-on work to support the breath (or alternatives, such as weighted blankets) if clients are comfortable with this. Full, diaphragmatic breaths stimulate the Parasympathetic Nervous System, helping us to let go of tension and feel a sense of wellbeing. I offer an element of coaching and reflection at the beginning and end of sessions. This work can help us to get in touch with the most insightful parts of our psyche, supporting us towards our goals.

  • feel at risk of burnout

  • ARE STRUGGLING TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES
